Welcome to
Clongriffin Central

Acquired in December 2023 by the Land Development Agency (LDA), the Clongriffin Central site is the largest planned State housing project. It will include over 2,000 homes, along with community facilities, services, and shops, all designed to improve quality of life for both new and current residents.  Find out how to get involved here.

Clongriffin, on the north edge of Dublin, is primed for a well-planned urban development thanks to its location, infrastructure, and proximity to Baldoyle Bay. The LDA plans to create a vibrant community with quality homes, green spaces, shops, and community facilities for residents, locals, and visitors.

We are pleased to share that we are now progressing with the Phase 2 planning application which will further integrate Clongriffin Central into the town and strengthen its role as a vibrant place to live, work and enjoy.

The Agency looks forward to continued engagement with our many stakeholders, as the LDA enters a full public consultation phase as part of the planning application process. Feedback from the public consultation will be carefully considered by the design team to help bring its Vision for Clongriffin Central to life.

Phase 2 – Planning application & Public consultation

Welcome to the Public Consultation for the planning application Phase 2 of Clongriffin Central. This brochure presents the detailed proposals for the next stage of development within Clongriffin Central, outlining how Phase 2 will contribute to delivering high-quality homes, improved amenities, enhanced green spaces and a stronger town centre.

Phase 2 has been developed by the Land Development Agency (LDA) in collaboration with Henry J Lyons (HJL) and in consultation with Dublin City Council (DCC). Building on the Vision previously shaped through community engagement, these plans reflect ongoing collaboration between the design team and key stakeholders, while responding to the needs and aspirations expressed by local residents and businesses.

We encourage all local residents, businesses and interested parties to take part and help shape the future of Clongriffin Central.
